Background

Ben is a Bristol-based audio engineer working across recording, mixing, and mastering. His journey began through hands-on studio work and formal training, completing a BA (Hons) in Music Production and Sound Engineering, and has since grown through years of real-world experience in studios such as the award winning dBS Productions, live music venues such as The Bristol Fringe, and various freelance projects.

He has worked with a wide range of artists and genres, particularly with bristol based punk, hip hop and new jazz sessions. He currently balances freelance studio work with in-house engineering roles. Being a musician himself, he has developed a practical, musician-first approach to his proccess— prioritising communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative working process.

His core aim is simple: to help artists translate their ideas into finished records that sound true to their vision. Whether through recording, detailed mixing, or final-stage mastering, every project is treated with the same level of care, regardless of size or genre.
